CV

I am an expert in growing intermetallic and oxide sample using flux growth, vapor transport, and optical floating zone furnaces. My research is centered around quantum magnetism, unconventional superconductivity, strongly correlated insulators, quantum critical points, and quasicrystals. I use a specific heat, neutron scattering, and muSR as my main technique to study these materials.

I am a professeur aggrégé in the Département de physique at the Université de Montréal.

I am a member of the Regroupement des matériaux de pointe and of the Institut Courtois.
